CARAVAN owners fundraised to buy a defibrillator and donated the excess to the ambulance service.
The caravan owners at Hareshaw Linn Caravan Park in Bellingham held a fundraising day to purchase the defibrillator for their caravan park.
The event included bingo, a raffle and a tombola.
Barry G provided entertainment and local Bellingham businesses provided the majority of raffle prizes, while other donations came from the caravan owners themselves.
A target was set for £2,000, however, they exceeded this total and raised £3,175.
After purchasing the defibrillator, box and fitting, they were able to donate £1,175 to the Great North East Air Ambulance Service.
Thanks to volunteers and the park owners, Billy and Michelle Ward of Horizon Holidays, the day itself was a great success.
