A FAST-PACED production will bring the circus to town this month.
Circus Montini, directed by Tony Hopkins, will return to Prudhoe's Tyne Riverside Country Park for a full weekend of "acrobatics, stunts and more".
Since the start of his career in 1983, Yorkshire man Tony Hopkins has promoted and toured family favourites including Chipperfields Circus, Gerry Cottle's Circus, the Netherlands National Circus, Billy Smarts Circus, and Circus Fiesta.
Circus Montini was created to take the show to places that do not often see a circus but without reducing the quality or quantity of the acts or production.

The show brings entertainment to towns and cities all over the country. It is returning to the ethos of taking a family show to the people, creating a memorable experience on their doorstep.
Tony has assembled a strong programme for the 2024 production of Circus Montini, featuring an array of top artistes from around the world. Circus Montini‘s very full, fast-moving programme includes clowns such as Petro, who has joined the show from Ukraine, now living safely in Yorkshire with his family.
Tony said: "After our visit to Prudhoe in 2022 and numerous requests to return, we are pleased to be back in April this year with a new fast-paced production packed full of comedy, juggling, balancing, acrobatics, stunts and more.
"We look forward to seeing everyone," he added.
Circus Montini will run a programme of youth circus workshops alongside the show. Learning experiences will include juggling, diabolo, acrobatics and trapeze.
Trained workshop leaders will work with young people to encourage them to experience a taste of circus skills as seen in the show. Workshops give an introduction to the circus, teach them what circus kit they need and signpost young people to local youth circus organisations so their passion and skills for the circus can grow.
Circus Montini will be at Tyne Riverside Country Park from Friday, April 26 until Sunday, April 28.
On Friday, the show will be on at 4.45pm and 7pm, on Saturday at 3pm and 6pm and on Sunday at 12.30pm and 3pm.
It will also travel to Wetherby, Bedale, Ashington, Amble and Dunbar.
