AS one of the people who have ‘aged with the club’ I should like to add something to your excellent report on Riding Mill Drama Club’s 60th anniversary year (Courant, January 22).

A significant factor in the increase in our membership in recent years was the help and encouragement we were given by Mike Fry, a truly inspirational drama teacher and director.

Following Mike’s untimely death last year a charity, the Mike Fry Foundation, has been set up to take forward his work of inspiring a love of drama in young people in Tynedale.
