ORMAN - AVGERINOS Mark - Eleni

THE Ionian Sea provided the beautiful backdrop for the wedding of Mark Alexander Orman and Eleni Avgerinos.
A traditional Greek Orthodox service, conducted in both Greek and English, took place on the clifftops of the Apostolata Spa and Resort, in Skala on the Greek island of Kefalonia.
The bridegroom is the son of Alistair John and June Frances Orman, of Shaws Park, Hexham.
He attended Hexham Queen Elizabeth High School and works as a business manager in Montreal, Canada.
The bride is the daughter of Jerry Avgerinos and Lorraine Trainor, and attended Concordia University in Montreal,
Given away by her father, the bride wore a strapless dress with crystal waistband.
Layers of frilled organza decorated the skirt of the dress, which had a six foot train embellished with crystal studded buttons.
Bridesmaids were the bride’s cousins Melissa and Amanda Tyer, and the bridegroom’s sister Louise Orman.
They wore blue strapless cocktail-length dresses.
Their stunning bouquets included calla lilies, roses and green accents.
Brother of the bride Spiros Mihali Avgerinos and the bridegroom’s son Jay Alistair Orman shared the role of best man.
Flowers and candles decorated the aisle for the wedding service.
A reception was held in the beautiful setting of the Regina Dell Acqua Resort in Skala overlooking the sea.
Tables surrounded the swimming pool, which had been decorated with floating beds of flowers.
The couple honeymooned in a villa overlooking the sea in Kefalonia.
