BARDON Mill couple Martin Baron and Katie Turnbull travelled to Anvil Hall at Gretna Green for their wedding.
Following the ceremony, at which a piper performed Highland Cathedral, a reception was held at Greenhead Hotel.
The bride wore an ivory A-line satin and chiffon dress with cap sleeves, a three loop bow at the back and a crystal brooch. Her bouquet contained sunflowers and lily of the valley.
Bridesmaids were the couple’s daughter, two-year-old Grayce Baron, and the bride’s daughter nine-year-old Hannah Turnbull-Dobson.
Both wore ivory satin dresses with royal blue sashes and carried ivory posies with crystals and royal blue ribbons.
The bride is a former student of Hexham’s Queen Elizabeth High School and is a teaching assistant at Haydon Bridge High School. The bridegroom, a former Haydon Bridge High student, is an electrician with RPC in Plenmeller.
Following their wedding, the couple spent their honeymoon in the Lake District with their children.
