The bride is the daughter of Norman and Helen Dickson, of Wark.
She trained as a nurse at Northumbria University, and now works at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle.
Given away by her father, the bride wore wellies under her wedding dress and carried a bouquet of garden flowers.
She was attended by the bridegroom's sister Louise Thirlwell, her friends Jenny Walton, Kayl Hutton and Jenna Wilson, and the daughter of the couple’s friends, Alice Walton.
They wore royal blue strapless dresses and also carried bouquets of garden flowers.
Best man was the bridegroom's friend, Paul White, and ushers were the bride's brother, Ross Dickson and the bridegroom's friends Tim Cameron, Richard Murray and Willie Murray.
The service was conducted by Canon Michael Thompson and the church was decorated with arrangements of wild flowers by Mandy Thompson and Kim Laratti.
