A HONEYMOON in Portugal followed the wedding at Bellingham Methodist United Reformed Church of Andrew William Scott and Michelle Ann Smith.
The bridegroom, the son of Bill and Mary Scott, of Bellingham, attended Haydon Bridge High School, and works at Bellingham Golf Club.
The bride, the daughter of Ann Smith, who lives in Ireland, attended Wright Robinson School in Manchester.
Given in marriage by her son Conor, the bride’s gown featured a diamante bodice.
The bridesmaids were the bride’s sister Sarah Brady, and her daughters Daisy and Lucy.
The best man was the bridegroom’s friend Peter Norman, and the groomsmen were another friend, Ian Goodfellow, and the bridegroom’s brother, Kevin Scott.
The service, which was conducted by the Rev. Peter Wright, included the hymns Make Me a Channel of Your Peace, and One More Step Along the World I Go accompanied by Acomb Ladies’ Choir.
The bride entered the church to Perfect Love, and the couple left to The Lord Bless You and Keep You.
The reception took place at Bellingham Town Hall.
