OTTERBURN Hall was the venue for the wedding of Slaley couple Steven James Kellett and Gemma Louise Murray.
The bridegroom is the son of Jeff and Linda Kellett, of Slaley. A former pupil of Hexham Queen Elizabeth High School, he now works on the family farm.
The bride, a former pupil of Haydon Bridge High School, is the daughter of Alistair and Eileen Murray, of Tarset. She works for BAE Systems.
Given away by her father, she wore an A-line strapless cream lace dress with bead detailing and carried a relaxed bouquet of vintage roses and herbs made by family friend Yvonne Hall.
Bridesmaids were friends Suzanne Thompson, Eve Rutherford, Stephanie Ferguson, Rachel Furlong and Katie Murphy. They wore chiffon dresses with satin and empire line detail.
Flowergirls were the bride’s cousin Imogen Murray and bridegroom’s cousin’s daughter Anna Hutchinson. They wore cream silk and lace full-length dresses.
Best man was the bridegroom’s best friend Richard Keen, and ushers were the bride’s brother Neil Murray and friends Andrew Rowell, Dan Ridley and Andrew Hall.
The bride was given away by her father at the civil ceremony, and readings were given by bridesmaids Eve Rutherford and Stephanie Ferguson.
During the evening reception, bridesmaid Suzanne Thompson read a poem she had written for the couple.
A three-tier wedding cake was made by family friend Margaret Ogle.
The couple will spend the new year in New York for their honeymoon.
