Richard Ian Walton - Elisa Zoe Heslop

A honeymoon in Abu Dhabi followed the wedding of Richard Ian Walton and Elisa Zoe Heslop.
The couple were married at St Nicholas’ Church, Cramlington, in a service led by the Rev. Steve Wilkinson.
The bridegroom is the son of Ian and Margaret Walton, of Haltwhistle, and attended Haydon Bridge High School and Lancaster University.
He is a manager at Ukar, in Gosforth and enjoys playing golf and football in his free time.
The bride is the daughter of Sharyn Heslop, of Cramlington and is a former pupil of Cramlington High School.
She is a property sales advisor for Ukar and a zumba instructor.
Given away by her mother, the bride wore an ivory dress with a fitted corset-style bodice decorated with Swarovski crystals and a full organza skirt.
Her layered veil, trimmed with Swarovski crystal drops, was held in place by a Swarovski tiara and she carried a Singapore shower bouquet of pink roses, white orchids and lilies.
Bridesmaids were her sister, Keira Heslop, and her friends, Jemma Stothard and Philipa Parkin Ross. Kiera wore an ivory gown featuring a satin bodice and organza skirt, with a peacock blue waistband and bow, while Jemma and Philipa wore empire line dresses of peacock blue chiffon and carried posies of pink roses and lilies.
Best man was the bridegroom's university friend David Halliwell and ushers were the bride’s brother Michael White and the bridegroom's friend Mark Foxcroft.
String quartet, Aurora Strings, performed Tale as old as time, Give me joy in my heart, Make me a channel of your peace and the Bridal March.
The ladies of St Nicholas’ Church designed the floral displays to complement the bride’s bouquet and the newlyweds were presented with lucky horseshoes by Isabella Kennedy and Keira Heslop, and a set of keys by Jake Weightman and Cerys Nixon.
Following the service, a reception was held at Slaley Hall.
