Daniel Lathan – Catherine Moore
A SONG loved by their daughter provided the perfect ending to the wedding of Daniel Lathan and Catherine Moore.
Pharrel Williams’ Happy was played after the newlyweds tied the knot at the Derwent Manor Hotel, at Allensford, in the company of family and friends.
The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Lynne Moore, of Haydon Bridge.
A former pupil of Haydon Bridge High School, she is a nursery nurse.
The bridegroom is the son of Alan and Pauline Lathan, of Greysouthern, Cockermouth. A vehicle technician with Northumberland County Council, he attended Hexham’s Queen Elizabeth High School.
Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory and silver dress featuring a chiffon bodice with jewels at the waist, complemented by diamantes in her hair.
She was attended by her sister Frances Anthony, her cousin Amy Johnson and friend Liz Hodgson, who wore moonlight waltz dresses.
The bride and bridegroom’s daughter, Charlotte, and niece Freya, were flower girls. They wore pale pink dresses with ivory sashes.
The bridegroom’s brother, Karl Lathan, and his friend, David Stokoe share the duties of the best man.
Groomsmen were the bride and bridegroom’s fathers, Alan Lathan and Kevin Moore.
Music included Unchained Melody, John Legend’s All of Me and Christina Perri’s 1,000 Years.
The wedding reception was held at the Derwent Manor, before the couple spent their honeymoon in the Lake District. They are planning a holiday abroad later in the year.

John Fox – Helen Graham
A HEXHAMSHIRE woman returned to her farming roots on her wedding day.
Helen Graham was driven to St Helen’s Church, Whitley Chapel, for her wedding to John Fox by her father in his farm pick-up truck.
The truck had been specially decorated for the occasion and contained a lucky horseshoe, sent from Tasmania by a close friend.
The bride also carried two lucky tokens, presented by friends Zakk and Will Storey and Sheila Hall.
The bride, a retired police officer, is the daughter of John and Nancy Graham, previously of High Raw Green, Hexhamshire, and now of Hexham.
The bridegroom is the son of Maureen Fox, of Consett, and the late Joe Fox. A retired teacher, he is a keen cyclist and classic car restorer.
Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory dress decorated with pearls and crystals, matching headdress and specially designed jewellery. She carried a bouquet of yellow rose.
Bridesmaids were the bride’s sister, Anthea Adamson, and the bridegroom’s daughter, Sarah Fitch.
They wore long, navy blue dresses, with ivory shrugs and specially designed jewellery. They carried bouquets of yellow and ivory roses.
Sharing the duties of best man were the bridegroom’s twin sons Christopher and Andrew Fox, and the ushers were the bride’s nephews Graham and Philip Adamson.
For the service the church was decorated with displays of daffodils in milk churns and other farming utensils by the bride’s friends Gayle Tailford and Yvonne Hall.
The ceremony was conducted by the Rev, Andrew Patterson and music and hymns included You raise me up , Love changes everything, Be though my vision, Brother, sister, let me serve you and How great thou art, accompanied by organist Shirley Nixon.
The reception took place at Wheelbirks Parlour, near Stocksfield, which was chosen to celebrate the bride’s farming background and the bridegroom’s love of ice cream.
After spending time with friends who had travelled from Canada for the wedding, the couple honeymooned in Cyprus.

Kevin Richardson – Julie Dockray
FORMER Haydon Bridge High School pupil Julie Dockray has married her business partner, Kevin Richardson, at Doxford Hall, near Alnwick.
The couple run a business supplying and fitting kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.
The bride is the daughter of Margaret Dockray, of Catton, and the late Howard Dockray.
She wore an ivory lace dress with pearl and crystal detail and carried a bouquet of hand-tied seasonal flowers in cream.
The bridegroom is the son of Maureen Richardson and the stepson of George Gray, of Amble. He attended St Mary’s Comprehensive School, in Longbenton. and in his free time is the lead singer and guitarist in the tribute band the FU Fighters.
The bride was attended by her sister Jeanette Dockray and her niece Anna Dockray.
They wore blue dresses with cream sashes and cream wrist corsages featuring the same flowers as the bride’s bouquet.
Best man was John Saunders, a friend of the bridegroom, while the bride’s brothers, Neil and John Dockray, the bridegroom’s brother, Stephen Turner, and the couple’s son, Jake Richardson, were ushers.
The bride was given away by her mother and music included Heartbeats by Jose Gonzalez, while the couple signed the register to music written by Kevin.
The reception was held at Doxford Hall, which was decorated with seasonal
flowers, before the newlyweds left for their honeymoon in Turkey.
