RICHARDSON - DOCKRAY
Kevin Richardson – Julie Dockray
FORMER Haydon Bridge High School pupil Julie Dockray has married her business partner, Kevin Richardson, at Doxford Hall, near Alnwick.
The couple run a business supplying and fitting kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.
The bride is the daughter of Margaret Dockray, of Catton, and the late Howard Dockray.
She wore an ivory lace dress with pearl and crystal detail and carried a bouquet of hand-tied seasonal flowers in cream.
The bridegroom is the son of Maureen Richardson and the stepson of George Gray, of Amble. He attended St Mary’s Comprehensive School, in Longbenton. and in his free time is the lead singer and guitarist in the tribute band the FU Fighters.
The bride was attended by her sister Jeanette Dockray and her niece Anna Dockray.
They wore blue dresses with cream sashes and cream wrist corsages featuring the same flowers as the bride’s bouquet.
Best man was John Saunders, a friend of the bridegroom, while the bride’s brothers, Neil and John Dockray, the bridegroom’s brother, Stephen Turner, and the couple’s son, Jake Richardson, were ushers.
The bride was given away by her mother and music included Heartbeats by Jose Gonzalez, while the couple signed the register to music written by Kevin.
The reception was held at Doxford Hall, which was decorated with seasonal
flowers, before the newlyweds left for their honeymoon in Turkey.
