St John Lee Church in Acomb was the venue for the wedding of Jill Cowie and Andrew Wilson.
The couple, both former students of Hexham’s Queen Elizabeth High School, tied the knot on May 30th.
The bride, daughter of Graham and Kathryn Cowie of Hexham, now works for the NHS.
She wore a white capped sleeve dress with lace overlay and train.
She wore a band encrusted with diamantes and pearls in her hair and carried a vibrant pink and white bouquet of roses and gerberas.
Friends of the bride Lindsey Armstrong, Suzanne Reay and Frances Howe were bridesmaids along with her nieces Lauren and Jessica Cowie.
The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Ann Wilson of Corbridge and works for M.Wilson Plumbing and Heating in Hexham.
His friend Christopher Turner was best man while Simon Raffel and Lee Carrol were ushers. The bride’s nephew Jack Cowie was page boy.
A marquee at Broom Park Farm in Acomb, the home of the bridegroom’s grandfather, was the venue for the reception.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Crete.
