Philip Dixon- Elizabeth Horrocks.
AN arbour on the white sand beach of Anna Maria Island off the Florida coast provided the dazzling venue for the wedding of Philip Dixon and Elizabeth Horrocks.
The bridegroom is the son of Alan and Pauline Dixon, of West Heddon Farm, and works on the farm.
The bride, the daughter of Michael and Anne Horrocks, of Heugh Mill, Stamfordham, wore a dress with pearl brocading, and satin neckline, accompanied by a long veil.
She was attended by her twin sister, Sally Horrocks, who was dressed in pink.
The best man was Major Martin Hedley.
Music was provided on the beach by the John Rinell Band, and the ceremony included a pouring of the sands of time.
The reception was held at the Sandbar Restaurant on the Santa Maria waterfront, and the couple spent their honeymoon at Captiva Island in Florida.
