Edward Richard Nicholson - Nicola Willams
SUN-DRENCHED Turkey provided the setting for the wedding of Edward Richard Nicholson and Nicola Williams on Thursday, June 4.
The wedding was attended by 70 guests who travelled out to Ovacik to join the couple to help them celebrate their special day.
A former Prudhoe High School pupil, the bridegroom is the son of Michael and Helen Nicholson of Stocksfield.
The bride is the daughter of Colin and Michelle Williams of South Shields, and is a former pupil of Harton School in South Shields.
Given away by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Amy Williams, and the bridegroom’s sister, Alice Nicholson.
The bridegroom was joined by three best men, his long-standing friends Adam Storey, Jack Wanless and John Moulding.
He carried an 18th century silver coin given to him by his grandmother, Margaret Mole.
On Saturday, June 27, 150 guests attended a wedding reception at The Sage, Gateshead, with entertainment including live music, a table magician and fun photo booth.
