CARR, Sir Peter D. CBE DL. Peter died peacefully in his sleep at home on Saturday, 21st October, 2017 aged 87 years. He had been suffering ill health related to Parkinson's Disease. He was a loving husband, caring father and grandfather and a loyal public servant. He leaves a wife, Geraldine, son Steve, daughter Alyce and four adoring grandchildren, Nelson, Warren, Elizabeth and Oscar. The funeral service is to be held on 8th November at East Chapel Crematorium, West Road Cemetery, Newcastle. Please arrive at 11.15am for a 11.30 start. Family flowers only. Donations to Parkinson's UK. A memorial event for Sir Peter D. Carr will be held in the King's Hall at Newcastle University at 3.30 pm on 18th December. Contact stevecarr4@me.com for details
