RUTHERFORD, Alan. Alston. Suddenly on the golf course on Sunday, 12th November, 2017 aged 57 years. Alan, a much loved dad of Blaine and Leonie, dear son of Sheila and the late Tommy, brother to Angela, David and Elaine, special friend of Michael, 'other half' to Linda and 'Albert' to Leigh, Claire and Joanne. Alan will be sadly missed by all family and his many friends. Funeral service to take place at St Augustine's Church, Alston on Tuesday, 28th November at 2pm. Private cremation to take place. No flowers by family request, donations if so desired in memory of Alan are for the Fire Service Benevolent Fund and The Injured Jockeys Fund. Any enquiries to the Co-op Funeralcare, Haltwhistle.
