RUTHERFORD, Vera. Acomb. Passed away peacefully at Lowgate Nursing Home on 22nd November, 2017 aged 92 years. Vera, beloved wife of the late George, dearly loved mam of Joan, mother-in-law of Anthony and devoted gran of Gary, Tony and Sarah, Gran Vera to Sasha and Alani-Jo. Funeral service to be held at St John Lee Church, Acomb on Friday, 1st December at 2pm followed by private burial. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Cancer Research UK. Friends please meet at Church.
