ROPER, Reginald John. Peacefully at home on 14th December 2017 aged 90 years. John, beloved husband of the late Barbara, father of Susan, David and Richard and grandfather to Thomas, Louise and Emily, Kathryn and Christopher, Rebecca and Alistair and a loving great-grandfather. Funeral to be held at St Cuthberts Church, Allendale on Friday 29th December at 11am, followed by a private cremation. No flowers by request, donations in lieu of flowers to St Cuthberts Church or Thornley Leazes Care Home c/o Dodds of Hexham, NE46 2EW.
