BATEY, George. Wylam. Died peacefully in Redbrick House Care Home on 21st December, 2017 aged 94 years. George, beloved husband of the late Amy, loving dad of Carole, Janet and Heather. Much loved father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. Private cremation at West Road Crematorium Newcastle on Friday, 12th January, followed by thanksgiving service to be held at Wylam Methodist Church at 10.45am. No flowers by request, donations to George's chosen charity.
