KING, Sheila. Formerly of Morpeth and recently of Corbridge and Gosforth. Died on 27th December, 2017 aged 97 years after a very full life until a stroke in May, 2017. Soroptimist, JP and server of the community. Much loved by her children, Kenneth, Barbara, Alastair, Jacqueline and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation to take place at West Road Crematorium, Newcastle on Friday, 12th January at 11am, followed by a service of thanksgiving to be held at St Georges United Reformed Church, Morpeth at 12.30pm. Donations in lieu of flowers to Soroptimist International may be sent c/o J W Peters Funeral Directors, 53 Bridge Street, Morpeth.
