HOPKINS, Carol (née Peaden). Originally from Acomb. Passed away March 30th, 2018 aged 75 years. Carol, daughter of Johnny and Freda Peaden, sister of John. A passionate educator and linguist, she lived and worked in the Lancashire area for much of her life. Carol maintained a lifelong presence in Hexham and had connections with family and friends in the area, most notably her sister-in-law Kay and a network of fellow QEGS alumni of some sixty plus years. Will be greatly missed by Richard, Jo, Katy and many others besides.
