BROOKS, Philip Richard Bowman. Wylam. Suddenly at home on 10th June, 2018 aged 78 years. Philip, much loved by Barbara, Rebecca, Matthew and all the family. Private cremation. A service of thanksgiving to be held at St Oswin's Church, Wylam on Friday, 13th July at 2pm.

Philip was a valued and respected colleague at Northumberland County Council during the 1970s and 1980s. I was so pleased to be able to meet up again on several occasions after retirement. He has also left us a wonderful legacy of publications.
