PAYNE, Eileen. Passed away at Haltwhistle War Memorial Hospital on 17th August, 2018 aged 85 years. Eileen, much loved partner of Tony Axe, she had been seriously ill for some time. The funeral will take place at West Road Crematorium, Newcastle, on Tuesday, 4th September at 1.30pm. All friends please meet there. Afterwards from 3pm, a funeral tea and get together at the Village Hall, Humshaugh. Flowers can be arranged by the funeral directors J. Dickinson of Gunnerton, telephone 01434 681594, or donations to Save the Children. Eileen will be sadly missed by Tony, her family and so many friends, but she leaves behind many fond memories.
