WING Percy Ernest (PEM) Late of Wheelbirks and York. Died December 30th aged 96. A former Spitfire and Typhoon pilot, his funeral took place in Melbourne, Australia on January 7th. A sad loss to his two sisters and brother and to the younger members of the family who enjoyed many fishing days and other adventures with him on the Tweed.
