BLACKBURN Eric Minsteracres Newfield Farm, formerly of Dilston Haugh Suddenly in hospital, on 24th June, 2019 aged 84 years. Eric, beloved husband of the late Dorothy and a dearly loved father of Jeremy. A diligent, warm and caring man, who was a pillar of the organisations he joined. Having built and managed his own business across the North East, he turned his energy in retirement to Rotary and voluntary causes. Respected and liked as a proper gentleman of his generation. Eric will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Would friends please meet for service in St Andrew's Church, Corbridge on Wednesday, 10th July at 11.30am followed by a private interment. A retiring collection will be taken for Tynedale Talking Newspaper and St Andrew's Church.
