THOMPSON Michael On the 10th April, Michael tragically passed away at the RVI Hospital, a stones-throw away from his beloved St James' Park, under the incredible care of NHS staff. He was a wonderful husband, dad, foster-dad, grandad and friend. Having previously been headteacher at Hexham Priory School for 23 years, he has made such an impact on the lives of children with special educational needs to which his family are very proud. Thank you to the Priory family for all your kind words. Funeral to be arranged, for close family only due to the current situation. In the future we will have a get-together to raise a glass to the incredible man he was. Donations to the Great North Air Ambulance welcome.
