COWEN Alan Hexham Peacefully at home on April 19th 2020, aged 75 years. Alan dearly loved husband of Doreen, much loved father to Ian and Finlay, father-in-law to Andrea and devoted grandfather to Evan. Due to current circumstances funeral private.

Dear Doreen and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Alan. Although we never kept in touch as much as we should have done, I have happy memories of our meeting at Pannal Ash, Harrogate in 1966 and throughout my time in Northumbria. My thoughts are shared for you all with Ian Patterson who now lives in Shrewsbury.
