HIRST Richard Haydon Bridge Died early on Friday 8th May 2020. After a short and unexpected illness. He was much loved, will be sorely missed by family and friends and never be forgotten. Private Burial to take place at Haydon Old Church. Pleases no flowers. I enjoyed working with Richard at Allen Banks where we were both volunteers for the National Trust. He was great fun, enjoyed a good bonfire and told me that he would happily cycle 90 miles just for a good bacon sandwich.

I'm very sorry to hear of Richard's untimely death. I volunteered with him at Allen Banks and enjoyed working with him. We often shared a good laugh. He will be greatly missed.
