HUDDLESTON Barbara Mary (nee James) Acomb Died peacefully at her home following an illness she faced with dignity. Darling wife to Geoff, devoted mum to Richard and Mark, treasured grandma to Otto, proud mum-in-law to Katie and Gemma and loving sister to Audrey. Due to current restriction the Abbey Service and Cremation will be private. For those wishing to pay their respects the cortege will depart Chapel Close, Acomb at 11.45 am, and Hexham Abbey at 12.40 pm on Monday 16th November. Donation, if desired, to the Royal British Legion c/o Dodd's of Hexham, NE46 2EW.

What a diamond of a woman had the pleasure of dealing with Barbara and Geoff for about 4 years with Ringtons tea, she was always excited to see what I had and would always ask about myself and my family, I’m sad and shocked about the passing, but as the saying goes he only takes the best r.I.p
