PURDUE Arthur William (Bill) (Allendale) Died suddenly at home on 17 November 2020, aged 79 years. Much loved husband of Marie and father of Jessica. Distinguished historian of Britain and the North East. Private service on 3 December at St. Cuthbert's Church, Allendale, due to current circumstances. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to the British Heart Foundation and PDSA.
