ARMSTRONG James Russell (Hexham) Peacefully at Wentworth Grange Care Home, whose care and attention is greatly appreciated, on December 4th, 2020 aged 94 years. Russell dearly loved husband, for 72 years, of Doris. He was adored by his children Lynn and Vivien and sons-in-law Malcolm and John, grandchildren Yvonne and husband Paul and Bryan and wife Debby. He was also very proud of his great-grandchildren Liam, Connor, Beth and Luke and great-great-granddaughter Lily. The funeral cortege will arrive at Hexham Abbey for a private service at 12.30pm, on December 21st and leave for Hexham Cemetery around 1.00pm, for anyone wishing to pay their respects outside. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group.
