JOBLING Eleanor (nee Best) Formerly of Prudhoe and Mickley died peacefully at home Wentworth Grange Riding Mill with her family at her side, after a long illness borne with great courage, dignity and humour on 23rd May 2021. Eleanor beloved wife of the late Alexander, loving mother of the late Gary and beloved mother of Trudy, adored grandmother of Harriet and great-grandmother of Darcey. Eleanor will be sadly missed by her family, friends and carers. Would friends please meet for service at Our Lady & St. Cuthbert's R.C. Church, Prudhoe on Friday 20th August at 1.15pm, followed by interment in Prudhoe Cemetery, reunited with Alex and Gary. On Whose Soul Sweet Jesus Have Mercy. Friends welcome back at grand-daughters for refreshments.

To my grandmother, I’ve missed you all my life. Taken from you and dad at such a young age. I spent my life looking for you. Not knowing what happened or why we were kept apart. Finding you after dad died, not even being told he had passed. It was loss after loss. But knowing you were alive and that you had been looking for me all these years. Only for us to be kept apart in your final years. I tired my best to see you. Only for my own family to separate us. The pain I can’t describe. At least you know the truth now. The peace I take from knowing we will see each other again in heaven. Love you always. Your eldest granddaughter Victoria. Gary’s daughter. Rest in Peace.
