KNOPH Sheilah Mary Hexham Peacefully at Wentworth Grange on 14th December 2022. Beloved wife of the late Gordon, dear sister to Ken and sister-in-law Carol, much loved auntie of Helen, Jennie and Joe, great-auntie to Ivy and Oakley. Private Service and Cremation at Newcastle West Road Crematorium, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving and Hexham Abbey on Monday 9th January 2023 at 2.30 pm. Family flowers only please donations in lieu of flowers to Myeloma Trust or M S Research c/o Dodd's of Hexham NE46 2EW.

I knew Sheilah from her Procter and Gamble days when we worked together and she guided me very tactfully through my first days in the job. Sheilah was someone who had immense integrity and high moral values though that certainly didn’t stop her being fun. We met as much as possible over the years and we always enjoyed our time together walking or just chatting. Characteristically she learnt to identify a new wild flower on every walk. It was good to see how much she enjoyed life in her later years in her own place surrounded by friends and with plenty of activity. A truly lovely person, we shall miss her.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of a dear and special lady. She lived next door to our mother and was so kind when she became ill. Thank you Sheilah . God bless you . John and Carolyn and families
