Peacefully at home after a short illness which he bore with characteristic stoicism and humour. Born in Gateshead, Norman was a long term Hexham resident, former Chairman of Tynedale District Council, and yacht captain of ‘Blithe Spirit’ for many years. Devoted husband of the late Patricia (Pat) Davison, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and inspiration to many.
