(born Pittington, of Chester-le-Street, Co. Durham and Hexham) Passed away in Hexham Hospital on Tuesday 12th November 2024, aged 80. Beloved husband of the late Christine, dad to Lucie and John, grandad to Noah and Dulcie, brother-in-law to David and father-in-law to Joanne.
Dearly loved and missed by his family and friends across Durham and Northumberland.
A private family cremation is planned. A local tree planting to be planned in the New Year will celebrate John's lifelong love of nature.
