A TYNE Valley estate agent is celebrating after it was awarded membership to an exclusive club.
Gilmore Estates is now Prudhoe's sole representative in the Guild of Property Professionals, a network of almost 800 leading estate agents across the UK.
The guild is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service, and traditionally only grants membership to one estate agent in a given area.
Owner Tracy Gilmore said: "“Being chosen to represent The Guild in Prudhoe is a great honour.
“The awarding of this membership is a tribute to all the hard work we have invested into building our reputation for exceptional service, and underlines our position as the leading estate agent in the area.”
The appointment means Gilmore Estates has been judged to have met and exceeded the guild's strict membership criteria.
The business will now be given access to innovative marketing to promote their sellers# properties to the highest standard.
In addition, it will get access to the widest possible pool of buyers across the UK, including the London market.
Properties of guild members are marketed through the Guild's head office in Park Lane, London.
Tracy continued: "Estate agency is all about people“which is why we remain committed to the principles of good old-fashioned, honest, personal service and this has always been our trademark.”
"To have been asked to join the guild for Prudhoe is amazing and we feel very honoured.
"I am excited that my clients will benefit from everything we can offer as a guild member."
Speaking on behalf of The Guild, CEO Iain McKenzie says: “We are delighted to welcome Gilmore Estates into The Guild as our new representatives in Prudhoe.
"Their expertise and outstanding service means that they will be a valued asset to our national network.”
Gilmore Estates, which is based on Prudhoe's Front Street, has more than 20 years of experience in the property markets.
The business works with customers across the region, covering Northumberland, Gateshead, Newcastle, Durham and Cumbria.
