PROVIDING vital end of life care to thousands of people each year, Tynedale Hospice at Home is highly regarded throughout the district.
People who have the misfortune of needing the service are full of praise for the staff at the charity who go above and beyond to give people a comfortable end. It also runs a bereavement service for young people.
To show how appreciated it is, hundreds of people have raised funds for the hospice over the years.
And that fund-raising has come through a wide variety of activities - all making a huge contribution to the cause.
We looked back through our archives to find some of our favourite fund-raisers, from a male vicar donning a wedding dress to walk Hadrian's Wall to choirs putting on a show for the public.
