A Tynedale woman is due to appear in court on Monday accused of eight counts of bringing, throwing or otherwise conveying prohibited items into or out of HMP Northumberland.
The court heard that in December 2019, Deborah Davis (40), of Edgewell Avenue, Prudhoe had in her possession tablets containing substances which included diamorphine and cocaine hydrochloride. Davis pleaded guilty to the offences in March and has been on bail since.
Despite the case being adjourned due to her previous good character, Judge Kier Monteigh QC warned Davis, “Don’t get your hopes up. All options are open, most likely custody.”
