56 new positive cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in Northumberland over the last 24 hours.
That means that according to figures from the Government, the total stands at 18,378 positive cases in since March 2020.
Despite the rise in cases, figures from Public Health England show that there have once again been zero covid-related deaths in Northumbria’s NHS Trust Hospitals.
Within our area, a total of 9 wards are in the worst affected. These are as follows:
Prudhoe South – 12
Hexham Central with Acomb – 11
Ponteland West – 9
Ponteland South with Heddon – 8
Ponteland North – 8
Hexham West – 6
Bywell – 6
Prudhoe North - 5
Hexham East - 5
