THE Geordie accent is the most desired regional dialect in the UK, according to a new survey.
The accent was also voted in joint top place with Northern Irish as the most fun-sounding regional dialect, the survey by language-learning app Babbel revealed.
For the dialect we enjoy listening to the most, Geordie twang was voted second, behind the Cockney accent.
