PONTELAND is one of the worst-affected areas in Northumberland in terms of coronavirus cases.
Ponteland West is the third worst-affected ward in the county, with 29 cases recorded over the latest seven-day period.
And Ponteland South with Heddon, and Ponteland East and Stannington, each with 27 cases, are also in the top 10 worst-affected wards in the county, according to data by Northumberland County Council.

According to Public Health England, there have now been 19,880 confirmed cases of coronavirus across Northumberland since the start of the pandemic.
NHS England's latest data showed no new deaths from Covid-19 have been confirmed at Northumbria Healthcare hospitals - the death toll remains at 731.
