192 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the county in the latest 24-hour period.
The figure - which is up from 167 cases that were confirmed in the previous 24 hours – means that a total of 20,239 Covid-19 cases have been found within in Northumberland during the course of the pandemic.
In our area, a total of 16 wards feature on the county’s worse affected list.

Ponteland West – 34 cases
Ponteland South with Heddon – 33 cases
Ponteland East with Stannington – 32 cases
Prudhoe North – 25 cases
Prudhoe South – 17 cases
Corbridge – 17 cases
Longhorsley – 16 cases
Hexham East – 16 cases
Hexham Central with Acomb – 16 cases
South Tynedale – 12 cases
Haydon and Hadrian – 11 cases
Haltwhistle – 11 cases
Stocksfield and Broomhaugh – 10 cases
Humshaugh – 9 cases
Bellingham – 5 cases
Over 45 million people in the country have now had their first vaccination against Covid-19, while over 30 million have had both jabs.
