Three new Covid-related deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours in Northumbria NHS Trust hospitals.
All three deaths were announced in the last 24 hours but occurred on July 3 according to figures from Public Health England. These are the first Covid-related deaths to have occurred in Northumbria NHS Trust hospitals since May 17.
As well as the newly-announced deaths, 214 new positive cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in Northumberland during the last 24 hours, taking the total in the county since last March to 20,830.
