A FURTHER coronavirus-related death has been recorded at Northumbria Healthcare hospitals within the latest 24 hour period.
The news means the death toll at the trust’s hospitals now stands at 737 since the pandemic began last March.
The total number of Covid cases in the county has also increased by 284 compared to yesterday’s figures, with the number now standing at 22,536.
In our region, currently Haltwhsitle is the worse affected ward in regards to the number of current Covid cases that have been confirmed within the latest seven-day period with 63.
