WE asked our Courant readers for their recommendations for anyone who wants to get a tattoo.
This was the response:
Edd Green: “I use Jen from Bluebell Tattoo and can’t fault her, great work in a very clean studio with good crack which is a must when your sitting still for hours.”
Jo Nelson: “It’s a personal thing. It depends on your style and who it fits with best. Took me years to find the right artist. Art La Vey Tattoo Studio amazing artists.”
Lisa Connolly: “Work of Art Tattoo Studio in Haltwhistle outstanding work, highly recommended!”
Tania Lowden: “Bluebell Tattoo without a doubt. I think we have lots of brilliant tattooists in our area, all with their own unique styles.
“I wouldn’t say there’s a best place to go, just the right place, for the tattoo you want.”
Rose Blackwood: “Bluebell Tattoo hands down. Jen is an absolute amazing artist, her designs are stunning and she has such a great ‘tattoo bed side’ manner. Have been to other artists before her but none compare.”
Janet Scott: “Inksploitation Tattoo, Hexham, without a doubt brilliant tattooist and a genuinely nice guy. Paul is gifted at his job.”
Jennie Wright : “I second Bluebell Tattoo but also agree with their comment. There are different styles and artists.”
Jordan Blackwood: “Bluebell Tattoo hands down, I’ve been to other artists locally but Jen just offers a great quality tattoo and experience from start to finish. Price, skill and experience are all the best in the North east.”
Bernie Winters: “For me it has to be Bluebell Tattoo. Their range of styles is second to none. Great quality and very professional staff. I think I’ll pay them another visit.”
