POLICE have found a body in their search for a missing Yorkshire man believed to be missing in Northumberland.
Thomas McGrath, 40, was last seen leaving an address in Wakefield at about 9.30am on Sunday in a green Range Rover.
Northumbria Police was able to trace the vehicle to the Kielder area earlier this afternoon (Monday) at the border with Scotland.
Police have been carrying out searches in the area and this evening, sadly found the body of a man.
Although formal identification is yet to take place, police believe the body is that of Thomas McGrath.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances, police say, and specialist officers are supporting the family at this difficult time.
