A HEXHAM youngster enjoyed the opportunity to play at one of the world's most highly regarded golf clubs.
Ben Brownless (14), of Hexham Golf Club, played at the Justin Rose Telegraph Junior Golf Championship final at Walton Heath earlier this month (October 5 - 8).
Ben's net 56 at the Northumberland Schools event saw him qualify to play at the prestigious course.
Three girls and three boys from the championships' Net Leaderboard were given the opportunity.
Ben, a year 10 student at Queen Elizabeth High School, has been playing golf for two years.
"I'd love to do it professionally, but not many people make it," he said.
