AN award-winning estate agents has added another feather to its cap.
Red Hot Sales and Lettings has announced the acquisition of Yellow Estate Agency.
Red Hot has branches in Hexham, Prudhoe and Alston and with the addition of Prudhoe-based Yellow, the company will be the largest estate agent group in Prudhoe.
Yellow has been in business for 20 years covering the Tyne Valley and the west of Newcastle.
“Acquiring Yellow is a great opportunity", said Adele Crocker, managing director of the Castledene Group, which owns Red Hot Property.
"The Castledene Group has grown quite substantially over the past decade and we’ve always been keen to acquire agencies who share our ambition to ‘be better’, providing clients with the best possible standards of service.
"Yellow has an excellent local reputation and we’re looking forward to working with the current team as they become part of our team.”
Andrew Eldridge, owner of Yellow Estate Agents added: “After 20 years of building up a successful agency, it was never going to be an easy decision to move on.
"However, I know that the staff and the business are in safe hands with Red Hot Property and I wish them every success for a great future.”
Red Hot Prudhoe moved to a new, larger town centre location earlier this year.
The business relocated to Prudhoe Front Street having outgrown its former premises in the Spetchells Centre, where it worked out of for the past eight years.
Red Hot was established in 2007 as a fresh and alternative approach to the traditional high street method of estate agency with an emphasis on technology. It was acquired by the Castledene Group in 2019.
