AN ART auction to raise money for those affected by the crisis in Ukraine will take place this weekend.
The auction will take place at the High Forest Community Centre in Sinderhope on Saturday, April 2.
Carole McCourt, one of the organisers alongside Linda Garrard, said they have received 80 donations of artworks, including from sculptor Joseph Hillier and fashion photographer Chris Moore.
The two artists have ran a life drawing class at the community centre for 11 years.

"We ran an auction about nine years ago to raise money for Tanzania," said Carole.
"So we thought 'let's do one again'. Because it has been organised at fairly short notice, we were worried we were not going to get enough artists.
"I've been so overwhelmed by the amount of work that artists have donated. People have been so generous."
She added there have received a broad range of artworks, from paintings to crafts and jewellery.
The preview of the works will take place between 11am and 12.30pm, while the auction will be from 1pm and 4pm. Refreshments and a raffle will be available.
Advance bidding online closes at 12.30pm.
All proceeds will be donated to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
