A couple's 'witchy' celebrant ceremony was made perfect by the bride's Grandad making an unexpected speech which left everyone in 'tears and in stitches'.
29 year-olds Andrew and Paige Jubb, a window cleaner and civil servant, from Cramlington, Northumberland, first met each other when they were 14 years old at school.
Little did they know that after meeting, they would be childhood sweethearts and be together ever since.
Fast track to 12 years later, a perfect opportunity presented itself to Andrew on how he would propose to Paige.
"We were actually at a friend's wedding at South Causey Inn," Paige said, "Andrew won us a luxurious stay as a prize on the poker table!
"We booked to stay the week after and after a lovely evening of dinner and drink Andrew proposed in our suite.
"It was unexpected and incredibly emotional, we were both so over the moon."

Despite the excitement of the upcoming nuptials, Covid dampened the couple's plan for an abroad stag and hen do, as they planned to go to Portugal and Dublin.
The couple did not give up,however, as the stag group went for a wild weekend in Liverpool, and the Hens went for an equally as wild weekend in Leeds.
Finally, it was the weekend of Paige and Andrew's wedding and the couple decided to do something different and special for themselves.
Paige said: "We actually got married just us two and two witnesses a few days at Alnwick registry Office.
"This was to allow for a super personal and special ceremony performed by the amazing celebrant Josie from Castle and country weddings.
"When we handed over our rings for the 'I do' bit, we were able to appreciate them more as my ring is an unusual and quirky black diamond, which was ordered from Israel and Andrew’s is a hardy and basic ring but suits him to a T.
"The celebrant ceremony for our family and friends was at Healey Barn on October 3 and we had 50 guests at our ceremony and a further 50 at the evening celebration.
Andrew adds: "The day was made even more special by Paige’s grandad- who means the world to her- standing up to do an unexpected speech at the wedding dinner. He had everyone in tears and in stitches with his jokes."
The couples theme for the celebrant ceremony was mystical, eclectic, witchy vibes and the couple made sure each guest had a tarot card at their place setting, and reading books were dotted around the table to allow them to read their own card.
Later on in the evening, the couple enjoyed dancing to Fleetwood Mac - you make loving fun for their first dance and then guests danced to a DJ afterwards.
After the wedding, the couple had a two-week stay in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
